A small hermitage is located in the woods of our retreat facility in Alamance County.
Surrounded by nature, silence and solitude, this is an ideal place for
intensive personal Buddhist practice and meditation. Visitors should be
prepared to be self-sufficient and some basic camping supplies are
helpful; there is no running water or electricity. There is no charge to
use the hermitage, but donations are gratefully accepted (funds are still
needed to finish construction of a toilet facility).
