Meditation 101

Meditation 101 is an introductory course created by FPMT. This is great for beginners, those who have practiced in other traditions, and anyone who simply wants a time to refresh techniques or practice. These basic Tibetan Buddhism meditations can be used by anyone to create more peace and happiness in daily life. 

The basic Buddhist meditation techniques covered include:

  • What is meditation?
  • Breathing meditations
  • Mindfulness meditations
  • Visualization meditations

The classes are offered with Buddhism in a Nutshell. For specific dates, please check our calendar. In keeping with our tradition, the class is offered on a donation basis and no pre-registration is needed.
