Visiting the Center

We are happy to note that, as the COVID pandemic has decreased in intensity, we are now open for many events, including Discovering Buddhism and Sunday morning teachings with Geshe Gelek. Other classes, and almost all other events, are also available online (via Zoom and YouTube) for those who prefer to avoid gatherings. To join an event by Zoom, please check the calendar listing for that event, where you can register for Zoom. Please click here to join via YouTube.

Whether you are a Buddhist practitioner, curious about Buddhism or a student of comparative religion we look forward to meeting you!

If you are wondering when to come or where to start, you have many choices! For newcomers, come to one of our virtual Sunday Teachings for an introduction to Buddist concepts and how to apply them in daily life. Or check out one of our ongoing classes for beginners: Meditation 101, or Buddhism in a Nutshell. Our two-year program Discovering Buddhism is a more in-depth overview of Tibetan Buddhism, but people are welcome to join the classes anytime. Feel free to check the calendar to see what events are coming up. These are just a few of the options awaiting you!

You are welcome to attend any online teaching, class or event at Kadampa Center at anytime. We do require preregistration for Zoom attendance. Please find information and links for each event on our calendar.
