Visiting the Center

Whether you are a Buddhist practitioner, curious about Buddhism or a student of comparative religion we look forward to meeting you!

If you are wondering when to come or where to start, you have many choices! For newcomers, come to one of our Sunday Teachings for an introduction to Buddist concepts and how to apply them in daily life. Or check out one of our ongoing classes for beginners: Meditation 101, or Buddhism in a Nutshell. Our two-year program Discovering Buddhism is a more in-depth overview of Tibetan Buddhism, but people are welcome to join the classes anytime. Feel free to check the calendar to see what events are coming up. These are just a few of the options awaiting you!

You do not need to attend an orientation before visiting any class or teaching at Kadampa Center.

Newcomer Q & A

If you would like to ask questions about the Center and Buddhism in an informal setting, this Q & A session is for you! Beginning immediately after the Sunday morning teachings every Sunday (approx. 12pm), an experienced Center member will give a brief introduction to the Center and answer any and all questions lasting about 15 mintues.
