Meditation to Start the Morning Right

Meditation is basic to Buddhist spiritual practice. One's suffering and one's happiness is dependent upon one's mind. To ensure for ourselves the happiness that we so ardently desire, it is essential that we begin each day with a peaceful and calm mind.

Sunday - 9:00 - 10:00 am; Starting April 7th the time is changing to 7:30-8:30am

Every Sunday morning from 9:00-9:50 am Kadampa Center offers silent meditation. The silent meditation includes 20 minutes of sitting meditation followed by 10 minutes of walking meditation (optional) and another 20 minutes of sitting meditation. Participants should arrive no later than 9:00. Each and every one is invited to come. You will find it to be a wonderful and relaxing way, not only to begin your day, but also your week. All are welcome regardless of one's level of practice.

Monday through Saturday - 7:30 - 8:30 am

Thanks to the generosity of a group of dedicated volunteers, the center is now open every morning for meditation. Start your morning right by calming your mind and setting a motivation for the day to benefit others, then see how it begins to improve your interactions and feelings of well-being.  Come as often as you'd like!
