Kadampa Center Members and Friends have many opportunities to participate in community care programs. Three different kinds of programs are available, each addressing a different kind of community need.
- To support one another's efforts to embrace some of life's more difficult challenges, a series of Community Education classes will be offered.
- To provide personal tools for managing distressing situations, PRN (as needed) Compassion's Umbrella sessions will be scheduled throughout the year as the needs arise.
- To meet personal needs for support, Hearts in Prayer is a twice-monthly opportunity to gather with others to share concerns, make light offerings, and engage in short, communal prayer and dedications.
Kadampa Center's Compassionate Care Programs try to foster ways members can give and receive support and care. Email the Compassionate Care Facilitator for more information.
